Creating the future leaders for Guatemala
Los Patojos’ after school program provides education and nourishment for over 100 underprivileged children to learn and grow in Jocotenango, Guatemala.
Los Patojos is a Guatemalan founded organization that is dedicated to developing education as a continuous and integrative tool to better lives. With extended programs, Los Patojos caters to entire families with free English classes for adults, womens cooperatives, cultural festivals, community forums, a clinic and leadership workshops for youths. Each week Los Patojos directly serves over 40 families and provides over 400 meals to families within Jocotenango.

Rising Minds is a U.S. based non-profit organization that encourages community involvement and learning through local events, school partnerships and volunteer programs.
Rising Minds works in partnership with Los Patojos to address need and develop education in the U.S. and Guatemala.
Rising Minds and Los Patojos has maintained a partnership for three years that is mutually beneficial and emotionally powerful. Together the organizations work to empower locally committed, globally active leaders.
