Veronica made this natural tan beaded necklace with Lacryma-jobi seeds, more commonly known as Job’s tears. These small tan seeds are found growing inside a grass native to Central and South America. The seed is named in reference to the lacrimal glands which produce our tears. The seed necklace measures about 20” from end to end with tan seed beads strung the entire length.
Veronica Lopez makes her own beaded jewelry on Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. She cherishes natural materials such as seeds and beans and vends each day on the beautiful streets of San Juan to support herself.
