Each brown and black ceramic bead are handmade by a Mayan women's cooperative in Solola, Guatemala. They are beaded together and embellished by semi-precious stones to create an absolutely stunning necklace! After being hand-cut and cooked at a very high temperature, each ceramic bead is dipped into various shades of  paint.  They are hand strung and individually knotted in this incredible design. The strands are embellished with a variety of turquoise, quartz, jade and other semi-precious stones. The ceramic beaded necklace falls about 5 inches from neckline.
