In the heart of Jocotenango, Fermin and his family live amidst piles of stone, loud clangs and a handful of busy workers. This incredible artisan was introduced by our friend Rolando three years ago. Fermin, who’s nickname is “Mincho,”is a connoisseur of Jade and has been creating jewelry for years.
This gorgeous pink rhodonite pendant is cut, polished and set in sterling silver in jocotenango, Guatemala. The pendant measures 2.25” long and 1.5” wide. This piece is one example of Mincho’s incredible skill in stone and metalwork. Genuine and kind, Mincho makes friends feel welcome and is dedicated to providing his family with a safe and nourishing home.
